Bird Plate Collection

Birds are a passion of mine. I incorporate into my quilts the things I love. After these four season blocks were completed, they reminded me of collectable plates. That led to the setting of a decorative scroll plate hanger. This hand-appliqued and hand-quilted piece was initially created to fill a space in our living room, but developed into a favorite quilt my husband claims as his.
