Tiptoe Through the Tulips

This quilt is hand quilted and made using the needle-turn applique method. It was completed in June 2005. At the time I had planted a bed of two hundred red tulips. When they bloomed, they were breathtaking. My husband named this quilt as he does most of my quilts. I make them, and he names them. It was given to my eldest daughter on her wedding day. It has special significance as she passed away in August 2011.
