Simply Iris

My fondness for flowers and a simple sketch inspired this elegant little quilt. For interest, I designed nontypical borders and used different fabrics with them. The on-point squares are cut from the same fabric used in the border on the right-hand side. I did a minimal amount of fabric painting with Tsukineko inks to enhance the shading on the iris flower and leaves.
