This is a plan for one of the IIS dormitories. Some dorms were designed to accommodate four students per room with common bathrooms (instead of en suite).

Away to School
This booklet, published in 1956, was given to students at Intermountain. It includes text in both English and Navajo instructing students on keeping their rooms clean, personal hygiene, and other items related to attending a boarding school.

This skirt was made by Morning Star Osceola, a Seminole student at IIS. It was collected by Doris Thompson, a sewing teacher at the school.
