Hill Country

Hill Country; large

Busby says that this quilt is her tribute to the great state of Texas. Hill Country is a 25-county region of Central Texas and South Texas featuring karst topography and tall, rugged hills consisting of thin layers of soil atop limestone or granite. Karst topography is a landscape formed from the dissolution of soluble rocks such as limestone, dolomite, and gypsum. The nine-banded armadillo was named the official small mammal of Texas in 1995.
