Peace and Quiet

There is peace and quiet in the Blue Rocks Gut these days. Leisure craft mingles with the Cape Island boats which seasonally lobster fish in the harbors and bays around Lunenburg County. Skiffs and punts are used to get to the larger boats moored off shore. The Gut, an open waterway between a rocky outcrop and the main land, provides some protection against the rough seas where a lobsterman can bait his traps and contemplate the ups and downs in the tides of the sea and in life.
