Morning Glory Madness

Floral blocks from Garden City Gateworks are set in my original design of ironwork with climbing morning glory vines. I started the floral blocks in an advanced applique class taught by the designer who I credit for giving me the courage to be creative with my own designs. I utilized fabric manipulation in the blocks and the setting for dimension. The piece is hand appliqued and hand quilted.  Since it was my intention to use three panels, I had to be creative to combine them after they were quilted.
