Monet in Pasadena

I was inspired to fashion this quilt by the morning light hitting the lily pond at the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, California. The water shimmered with reflections which made me wonder what the artist Monet must have seen. This quilt was made with my fusible technique with 100% cotton fabrics primarily hand-dyed.
